We had a really good turnout for today's meeting. I counted the names on the sign in sheet and it was about 25, which is good for a Monday.
In any case, Meghan Cosgriff and Linda Connor briefed us on all the programs offered by the SBC Department of Aging and Adult Services and on how to contact the closest office, which is in Yucca Valley.
A representative from their office is available at the Twentynine Palms Senior Center once a month and sometimes has some free bus passes to distribute so I will try to get that information and put it here on the website and in the WV Sand Paper.
